January TBR

This is a late post, I know.

I wanted to post it anyways, so I could look back at it and remember how naive I was at assuming how many books I could read in a month….

This month my goals were steep because usually I am the most productive at the beginning of the year, so why would this year be different?

Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury: This book is one that I have been meaning to read for ages and haven’t gotten around to. It is a smaller book so I’m sure I’ll be able to fly through it, especially with all the hype it has gotten! This book is my work book of the month, which is perfect because I have a hard time focusing on a book during my breaks if there are people to talk to around me. I’ll definitely be getting to this novel this month, the only question is if I can focus long enough to finish it.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire/Half Blood Prince/Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling: I am finishing up (spoiler, as I’m writing this I have already finished these) the Harry Potter series this month, which is always a bittersweet moment for me. These are of course incredible books and I don’t really need to say much about them because everyone knows what this series is about.

Red Rising/Golden Son/Morning Star by Pierce Brown: These are the first three books of the Red Rising series and I am attempting to re-read these this month. Last time I read Red Rising I was able to get to the middle of Golden Son before I got distracted and put it down. I hope I’m able to concentrate enough this time around and finish up these books before I become distracted. Of course this series is raved about by so many people, from what I read I was very intrigued so I know I’ll love it!

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides: This book was one that was very popular last year, so of course I had picked it up as one of my book of the month picks. I have already read this book and will be posting a review up soon, suffice to say I enjoyed it and understand the hype surrounding it.

These are the books I am intending to pick up this month, to be fair I have finish four of them already and I’m a good way through a fifth. I think that I have plenty of time to finish them all, which will be an incredible start to the year for me!

Thank you all so much for reading, I hope you stick around and follow my blog because I intend to post a lot more this year!
